We have now been living without any form of Justice,
for three thousand, two hundred and eighty-seven days.
For us, what happened on the 14th June 2017, will never go away…
 
How long will we be waiting?
How long until we can try to move on?
How long will division tactics,
And distractions, go on, and on?
 
Does anyone fully understand what is going on?
Cos, if they do, …please give us a clue!
 
No straight line, only broken dreams, broken promises…
Being passed along a chain,..
Only to find ourselves, in the same place again...
No clear answers… Hope is on the ropes.
 
…Where is the Humanity…? ‘

We are left on a conveyor belt,… it’s one thing after another,
We are managed in to, tiny sectioned pieces, with no time to recover,
With things always shifting...How are we meant to cope?
No clear answers… like false hope, on a rope.
 
When is the actual date for this living nightmare to end?
For all of us affected, to begin to try and mend?
Is justice really supposed to look like this?...
Denying people the answers, leaving them stuck in a pit?
 
Are we meant to, just, keep waiting?... Expected, just, …to believe,
without actually seeing anything that helps us to grieve.
 
It’s been a long nine years, and still no end,
… of Goal posts being moved,…
With, all the ‘hopefully’s’ and the ‘maybes’,   
the fear and greed, and blatant disregard for Human dignity…
 
And justice, we cannot see…
Being led like donkeys and a carrot,
and still no set guarantees.
 
Grenfell Tower is coming down…
Its remains are being moved out of town.
To a location not easy to find,
And without justice, there can be no peace of mind. 
 
Should we not have had, an agreed final Memorial,
before the Tower came down?
Or is, stalling, just a part of the plan,
To hide away truths, wherever they can,
 Still waiting to decide, who and who, should take the stand?
 
The sad fact is, this catastrophe could have been avoided,
The materials were definitely not safe.
Profits were put before people’s lives,
Yet, this stupid blame game, is still taking place.
 
Who will take responsibility,?... and when?
Next month?... Next year? …Hopefully? … Maybe?
The, Truth is, that, Justice ,… some may never see
But, this avoidable tragedy, will live with us for eternity…
 
As we stand where we are today,
As the Grenfell Tower reminder is taken away,
As we wait for the Memorial to be placed,
Let us remember all who are still suffering,
And the mental toll it takes.
 
We need accountability and prosecutions…
For, all, those precious lives lost,
As a result of greed, and incompetence, the cut on costs.
 
We constantly hear, that ‘lessons will be learned,
But, Trust is something that must be earned!
We put Trust in The Most High, who we know has the last say,
For each of us will surely face, our own Judgement day…
 
 
Still waiting for Justice, it is now year Nine (9),
Remembering … Out of sight is NOT out of mind.
Long sight, short sight, in sight, out of sight, on site, a 2nd site!
Justice for Grenfell!!!… We shall continue to fight!!!
 
So to all of our loved ones lost, in this way of injustice,
We shall never, ever, forget you.
 
The truth will surely come out, in its own time.
For The Most High told us,... 'Victory Is Mine!’
 
For the 72 named,… the un-named,…
And the unclaimed.

Grenfell ...
